A little background about me as a lawyer:

For the first 8 years as a lawyer, I learned from some of the countries finest lawyers while I worked  for massive law firms with offices located throughout country.  My mentors were superb lawyers that all had one key ingredient:  A relentless pursuit of winning.  I love to win.  Winning takes shape in a variety of outcomes: Trying a case to verdict, a favorable outcome at a hearing, and, of course, settlement.  Resolving a dispute by way of a settlement is the ONLY way to guarantee an outcome in a dispute.  This is why Robyn and I created Omega Mediations.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to handle cases through verdict in disputes that range from commercial/business matters, real estate, personal injury (i.e. products liability, medical malpractice, automobile, slip and fall, negligent security, nursing homes/ALFs), employment, securities, consumer law, first and third-party insurance litigation, and civil rights.

My educational background:  B.A.  Biology from Washington University in St. Louis; J.D. University of Miami, cum laude

Please expect me to ask you questions about your dispute during the settlement process.  This will help everyone think about their dispute and potentially understand different angles regarding the pending issues.  As we can all agree, Perception is reality!  Thus, everyone in a dispute, whether in the pre-suit or litigation phase, generally views the dispute from their own perspective.  Of course, it is your dispute, but I hope to open your mind during the settlement process to the possibility of different perspectives to achieve success and a win in the dispute resolution world: ENDING YOUR DISPUTE BY RESOLUTION.

I have successfully mediated (whether as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator or lawyer) hundreds of cases.
